1. Who we are
Twitter X.com 发帖翻译 is an independently developed browser extension operated by Zhao Yue, an individual based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, under the 污斑兔 (DirtyRabbit) brand (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled by the extension, the managed translation service, and this product website.

2. Two translation modes
Free BYOK mode
If you provide your own DeepSeek API key, the extension stores that key in the browser extension's local storage. Translation text is sent directly from the extension to the official DeepSeek API. We do not receive your API key or translation text in this mode.
Managed membership mode
If you activate an annual membership license, the extension sends the license key, a randomly generated installation identifier, the text you request to translate, and the selected target language to our managed service hosted on Alibaba Cloud Function Compute. The service validates the license with Creem and sends the text to the official DeepSeek API using a server-side key.
3. Information processed
- Extension settings: target language, button position, optional personal API key, membership license key, and license instance identifier are stored locally in your browser profile.
- Translation content: processed transiently to provide the requested translation. Our application does not intentionally write source text or translated text to a database.
- License information: sent to Creem for activation and validation. Creem maintains order, customer, subscription, and license records under its own policies.
- Operational metadata: hosting, network, security, and payment providers may process IP addresses, timestamps, request metadata, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure their services.
- Support communications: if you contact us, we process the email address and information you choose to provide so we can respond.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. We do not directly collect or store full payment card details. Creem may process contact, billing, tax, transaction, subscription, and fraud-prevention information according to its own privacy notice and Buyer Terms.
5. Third-party services
The product relies on the following service providers:
- DeepSeek: translation model API.
- Creem: checkout, payment processing, tax handling, receipts, customer portal, subscriptions, and license management.
- Alibaba Cloud: managed membership translation service hosting.
- Cloudflare: static website and content delivery through R2 and related network services.
- Your browser provider: extension runtime and local extension storage.
Your use of those services may also be governed by their respective policies.
6. Retention and security
We do not operate a user account database for this product. The application does not intentionally retain translation content after a request completes. Local extension settings remain in your browser until you change them, clear extension storage, or uninstall the extension. Payment and license records are retained by Creem according to its legal and operational obligations. Infrastructure providers may retain limited operational logs under their own retention controls.
We use HTTPS, restricted upstream API destinations, license validation, request-size limits, and rate limits. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices
- Use the free mode instead of the managed membership service.
- Remove your personal API key or membership license from extension settings.
- Deactivate the current membership device from extension settings.
- Uninstall the extension to remove its local storage from that browser profile.
- Use the Creem Customer Portal from your receipt email to manage billing and subscriptions.
- Contact us to ask a privacy question or request assistance.
8. Children
The product is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their contractual, legal, and security obligations.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain publicly available at this URL.
